Did you ever ask someone to imagine their perfect job?
I’ve done this many times myself and what happens next is often a litany of all the wonderful things that that person could see himself doing. All the money that they’d make, all the free time they would have, all the wonderful places they would go and all the great things that they’d be able to do.
Then I ask them why they aren’t pursuing that job . . . and I get nothing but silence.
Now just for a moment imagine that your email marketing program could be absolutely perfect. What would you want to see there? For most people the answer would be a very very large list, filled with very responsive and eager buyers, who would buy just about anything you suggested to them whenever you suggested it to them.
So now that I have you thinking about your email marketing program and all the great things you would do if it was perfect, my question to you is, “Why aren’t you doing those things?”
You see you could be building your list, you could be making that list more responsive and you could be in a situation where people would trust you and believe you and buy from you. So once again my question to you is, “Why aren’t you doing those things?”
